
Elizabeth was born in Greenville, NC, and raised in Kinston, NC. She joined AMEXCAN in the fall of 2022 as an administrative assistant and gradually took on a new roles. With great honor ,she became Co-Executive Director in Fall of 2025. She is currently attending Wayne Community College in pursuing her dream of becoming a nurse, with the goal of using her knowledge to help the Latino Community. Alongside Co-Executive Director Marlene Castillo, Elizabeth oversees organizational strategy, community partnership, team building while leading initiatives such as the Health pillar, NC Latino Health Alliance, and the NC Latino Resource Network. She hopes to bring new ideas that can help support the community and is dedicated to be a strong voice for her community. Working at AMEXCAN has given her insight on the challenges many Latinos face, which drives her passion to continue the work she has grown to love.
