
Bianca Samantha Perez is a North Carolina native, born in Greenville and raised in rural communities such as Snow Hill. The daughter of Mexican immigrants, her father is from Morelia, Michoacán, and her mother is from Agua Dulce, Papantla, Veracruz. Bianca is deeply rooted in culture, family and resilience. As the second oldest of three siblings and is a proud first- generation Mexican-American, she always carried a strong sense of responsibility and purpose. AMEXCAN has played a significant role throughout her life, shaping her connection to community, culture and education. Witnessing the impact of organizations that uplift Latino families, inspired her to pursue service and leadership. Bianca began her journey with AMEXCAN as a volunteer, promoting her Latin roots through Danza Folklorica, and now serves as the Director of Community and Cultural Affairs. Today, she shares her cultural pride and her commitment to serve Latino families and youth, celebrating their identity and ensuring these traditions continue to flourish for generations to come.
