My name is Abel Arguello Ramírez. I hold a degree in accounting and I am a law student. I am kind, respectful, empathetic, and above all, responsible. What I like about AMEXCAN is that since its beginnings it has cared about the well-being of Latino migrants, creating areas of work that are extremely important for society. But if there’s one thing I truly love, it’s the Almas Mexicanas—Family Reunification program. I’m here at AMEXCAN because I value social service and because I had the opportunity to be part of this wonderful team and this great Association. From February 2022 to the present, I have contributed my skills and knowledge to strengthen our focus areas, programs, and services, and to innovate in new ones—without losing sight of the Association’s mission: to inform, support, and empower the Latino community.
