Building power for our gente—in North Carolina and Mexico.

Building power for our

comunidad.

The Association of Mexicans in North Carolina (AMEXCAN) supports families navigating immigration, family reunification, and life across borders. Based in North Carolina with work rooted in Mexico, we connect our comunidad to trusted resources, rights-based guidance, and local programs that build stability, opportunity, and leadership—wherever families are starting from.

Building Power for Our Comunidad.

Where Mexican and Latino communities lead, belong, and thrive.

Our mission is to promote the active participation of Mexicans and Latinos in their communities across North Carolina and Mexico. We encourage the appreciation, understanding, and prosperity through advocacy, cultural, educational, health, leadership and binational initiatives.
